2020 PROVISION

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE NO MASSES IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY 2020.  MASSES WILL CONTINUE TO BE PROVIDED FROM MARCH AT NOTRE DAME DE LA CHAPELLE ON THE SUNDAYS OF EACH MONTH (Except for April 13th, when it is at Bocé) THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER: AND FROM SEPTEMBER UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR ON THE FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH AT 11 am. A CAROL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT BOCE ON DECEMBER 20th. THERE IS A MASS CELEBRATED ON CHRISTMAS DAY AT LA CHAPELLE 11 am.

MASSES & SERVICES for the Chaplaincy.

SUMMER PROGRAMME 2020

AT LA CHAPELLE in Doué en Anjou.  From the month of March until the end of August there will be a Mass at Notre Dame de la Chapelle on every Sunday of each month (except April 19th) at 11 am.  There are extra services for Holy Week 20120  Maundy Thursday (April 9th) Mass of the Last Supper at 7.30 pm and on Good Friday (April 10th) Way and Veneration of the Cross at 3 pm.  An Easter Octave Mass will be celebrated in Bocé on Sunday April 19th at 11 am.

AUTUMN:WINTER PROGRAMME 2020

MASS AT NOTRE DAME DE LA CHAPELLE is offered on the first Sunday of each month from the month of September until the end of the year.  A Carol Service will be celebrated at Bocé on December 20th at 11 am.  Christmas Day Mass will be offered at 11 am on December 25th.

Special Projects in 2014

New linen has been obtained for the altars at La Chapelle and Bocé, and we have also acquired some splendid altar frontals and lectern falls; a few produced by the artistic Slabbinck manufacturers of Belgium.  These adornments provide the churches with an atmosphere of devotion, besides declaring beautifully the colours and themes of the various liturgical seasons.  Thanks to Avis Hughes and Pamela Johnson who help us with their sewing skills—much appreciated.
